Digital Zine:
Hmong American
Pandemic Experience

COVID-19 disrupted the lives of everyone, including Hmong families. Deep loss and trauma within the Hmong community strained both physical and mental health. As stories of anti-Asian hate emerged, attackers physically and verbally abused Asian Americans, leaving many Hmong people in a state of fear and anxiety. Despite these challenges, the community united to support and empower one another. Members lifted each other’s voices, marched in solidarity, and took decisive action. The Digital Zine captured these Hmong American experiences through powerful stories, art, and video.
